Back to Topics Typical wear, right side Here’s a typical wearing style for the sheath extender and tactical knife, right side, blade back. Note how much lower the extender sets the handle than the aluminum belt loops. The handle is nearer to the belt line, rather than high by the ribs. The extender should not be too long, or the lower tip of the sheath will flop around and need to be secured to the thigh. Currently, I do not make thigh straps, as they may interfere with movement in the field. Also, a couple guys have asked if I could make the height adjustable. I think this is a bad idea, as that would weaken the whole vertical riser on the extender.

Well, a little history here to clarify before I go on then First and foremost, I’m a shooting enthusiast The main focus being on. Unfortunately, the ‘political climate’ here currently doesn’t lend itself well to free range shooting of said weapons. As such, my wife Edna and I have taken up knife collecting in the mean time Being that there is very little useful information in print on these knives, we’re researching and documenting them from a historical perspective.
We’re also publishing our findings in the KnifeForums. That said, to date we’ve submitted a seven part series on dating RMK’s via their various characteristics over the years, the last of which will be published in the April issue of ‘KnifeForums, the magazine’. This is not a plug for KFC, just a FYI for those interested in obtaining the back issues, or having access to the information provided.
Yes, we did our homework prior to submittal for print, in excess of hours research, numerous emails and phone calls, and pre-print ‘proofing’ by many of the known stalwarts of RMK collecting. At this point, I think we’re pretty close with our dates and info. So now, we’d like to share what we know, here, with those interested in sharing too. We can’t, won’t, be put in a position where we come across as psuedo-experts

Subscribe to The Mag Rodgers is unusually cautious. This is evident whenever he opens his mouth. Before he speaks, he pauses, choosing his words like a surgeon plucking instruments from a table. Some of this comes with the territory — all-galaxy quarterback, face of a multibillion-dollar insurance company, vessel for an entire state’s hopes and dreams — but it rarely feels calculated.
Rodgers, 33, isn’t studiously bland, like many of his elite brethren, and he isn’t evasive either.
